Supporting business in Cheltenham

Cheltenham Borough Council recognises that businesses are vitally important in making Cheltenham what it is today.  Businesses matter. This business directory is one of many measures which we are taking to support businesses in all sectors of Cheltenham’s economy.

The document is available in both paper and electronic formats and is primarily designed to enable local businesses to source local suppliers and service providers. I am grateful for the support of local businesses in the creation of this Directory. The Council knows that it can only take Cheltenham forward if it actively engages with local people and organisations, hence the introduction of our popular scheme Cheltenham Business Pride.

The Directory portrays the broad range of skills and services available in the Borough, and the Council is committed in helping these businesses to prosper and grow, especially during the post-recession. The town as a whole offers first class office locations; accessible manufacturing premises and, as you will see as you look through the Directory, is home to many world class high technology companies. Cheltenham has a successful business community and is a great town in which to invest, live, work and play. 

This is highlighted via the directory itself, as it provides an invaluable networking tool to companies already based in Cheltenham as well as highlighting the wealth of trading opportunities available to businesses who, as a result of our strong economy and high economic activity rate despite the recession, may be considering making Cheltenham their new home.
